Riedesel Dortha Belle [Female] b. 23 NOV 1907 Lanesboro, Carroll, Iowa - d. 27 JAN 1997 El Paso, Texas
The records show that she married a Neely, but I can't find much else. There was a "Lem" G. Neely born in 1918 who lived in Kerrville, Texas.
Known as William.
Killed in World War II.
Christened Heinrich but known as Harry.
Died at birth.
A death record for "Jay Riedesel" appears in the Ida County records. It is my assumption that he was a child of J. Louis and Emma.
Died shortly after drinking water from a stream that was contaminated by a toxic plant "resembling a wild parsnip."
Apparently known as Anna Maria, though her baptismal name was Anna Gertraud.

Born in Hanphilippses Haus in Wunderthausen. Came to the US on the ship "Johann Schmidt" out of Bremen, landing in New Orleans on June 1, 1857. She was not in the household as of the 1870 Census--and the Schneiders seem to have been missed in 1860. There is no gravestone for her in St. Paul's cemetery, but it is most-likely that she died there at Wheatland as a child.
"Maddie" is certainly a nickname, but I am not sure for what.
