History (German Language)

Relatively little has been written in English about remote Wittgenstein. Alexander Mack of the Church of the Brethren and Christoph Sauer, an eminent printer in 18th century Pennsylvania, have captured some scholarly attention. Otherwise there is a large void which I have in small measure tried to fill with the material in this website. However, it has also been satisfying to address some issues for German readers (most were published in the regional magazine of the Wittgensteiner Heimatverein).
